Snoop Dogg will become Snoop Lion for a new reggae album, and previews a Major Lazer-produced track.
It’s actually kinda surprising that it has taken so long for the legendary weed enthusiast to deliver a reggae album, but it’s on the way.
The album will be titled Reincarnation, and he’ll be putting it out as Snoop Lion.
There’s not much other info on the album at the moment, but the first single he has previewed is produced by Diplo and Ariel Rechtshaid and “executive produced” by Major Lazer, according to Pitchfork. It has guest vocals from Jovi Rockwell.
He’ll be performing as Snoop Lion with The Jungle in Canada in August.
Have a listen below. Reincarnation will be released on Vice Records later on in the year.
