The unique music festival So Frenchy So Chic will return to Sydney and Melbourne in 2016.
The four acts for 2016 are Lou Doillon, Brigitte, Hindi Zahra and Soviet Suprem.
Lou Doillon is the daughter of director Jacques Doillon and actress Jane Birkin. Lou was due to perform for this year’s So Frenchy So Chic but cancelled due to illness days out of the event. She will make good for 2016.
Brigitte is the French folk duo featuring Sylvie Hoarau and Aurélie Saada. They took their name in honor of Brigitte Bardot.
Hindi Zahra is of Moroccan decent. She has been compared to Beth Gibbons of Portishead, Patti Smith and Norah Jones.
Soviet Suprem are described by the So Frenchy So Chic crew as a mix of “light punk, Bolshoi gypsy beats, hip hop and over-the-top iron curtain theatrics. This Balkan-electro collective is an elite musical commando force of unconventional cool.”
