Paul, Steph and Clint from Something For Kate are off the Dallas Texas to record their sixth album.
The alt-rock trio have been writing and rehearsing new material over the last few month sand they’ve booked flights to Dallas to record their sixth studio album with producer, engineer and mixer John Congleton (who has worked with Explosions In The Sky, St. Vincent, Okkervil River and Modest Mouse).
It has been a good six years since the band have released an album, the chart-topping ‘Desert Lights’ of 2006. Frontman Paul Dempsey released his gold-selling solo debut ‘Everything Is True’ in 2009.
The band urge fans to keep an eye on their dot com and Instagram account for updates on the recording, and mailing list members are promised secret show info and pre-sale ticket offers.
If you go ‘like’ the band on Facebook, you can have a gander at a video of the band working on a new song in the rehearsal room here.
