Maxwell and D’Angelo will head to Australia in October for what is being billed as Australia’s first annual Neo-Soul, Jazz and Hip-Hop festival, Soulfest.
The first annual Soulfest will take place in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane.
The first line-up announcement also includes Common, Aloe Blacc, Mos Def, Anthony Hamilton, Angie Stone, Musiq Soulchild and Leela James as well as Ngaiire, Nathaniel, Ms Murphy, Miracle and DJ Trey.
Local acts will also be featured in each city.
Soulfest dates
October 18, Sydney, Victoria Park, Broadway
October 19, Melbourne, Yarra Park (MCG precinct)
October 25, Brisbane, The Riverstage
Early bird tickets will be available for registered Soulfest members from April 7 at soulfest.com.au
General public tickets will be available from 10am April 15.
