The Spice Girls are heading for another reunion this week, according to singer Mel B.
Spice Girls stunned fans earlier this year, when all five came together for a business brunch meeting at Geri Horner’s home in Britain to discuss their legacy and a few new projects.
The girls never discussed what was being planned, but Victoria Beckham has shot down rumours of new music and a world tour.
And now another meeting has been set up, with Mel B sharing a throwback photo to the group’s 1997 Rolling Stone magazine cover shot on social media and adding the caption: “Can’t wait to see my girls next week yipppeeee #girlpower #friendshipneverends…”
The bandmates are rumoured to be voicing characters based on themselves in an upcoming animated movie, while reports suggest there are also plans for the quintet to launch a global TV talent show to seek out a new girl power band.
Meanwhile, Mel B and her ex-husband Stephen Belafonte have reportedly been hit with a tax demand to the tune of over $274,000 (GBP202,000).
Last month, officials at the State of California’s tax board filed a lien against the Spice Girls star and the producer, accusing them of owing back taxes from 2016, according to The Blast.
The tax woes will bring the feuding ex-couple back together as they battle for custody of their biological daughter and Mel’s child from her fling with Eddie Murphy, who Belafonte helped raise.
The pair divorced last year (17), but they’re still fighting in court.
