Splendour In The Grass Sells Out Faster Than Ever

This year’s Splendour In The Grass has sold out in the quickest time ever.

After last year’s slow grind of ticket sales, it’s a surprise that without any massive international stars like Coldplay or Kanye, this year’s Splendour In The Grass has sold out in 43 minutes – the fastest ever.

While there aren’t enormous headliners, it’s the most consistent line-up in a long while, featuring Jack White, Bloc Party, At The Drive-In, Smashing Pumpkins, The Shins, Hilltop Hoods, The Kooks, Lana Del Rey, 360, Miike Snow and scores more.

Event producers Jessica Ducrou and Paul Piticco said in a press release, “This tops off an amazing week for Splendour. Massive thanks to everyone who has supported our event this year. We love every one of you! We can’t wait to see you all at Belongil Fields in July.”

Splendour thanks MoshTix for running the ticket sales smoothly. For those who missed out, they say “a ticket reissue service will be offered via moshtix.com.au from a date to be advised.”

Official Splendour sideshows will be announced on Monday, although many have already slipped out.
