Squeeze Are Heading Back To Australia For First Time Since 1980

in News

Squeeze will tour Australia for the first time since 1980 in May 2018.

Squeeze only had one hit in Australia, ‘Cool For Cats’ reached no 5 in 1979, but their songs like ‘Tempted’, ‘Up The Junction’ , ‘Slap and Tickle’, ‘Another Nail In My Heart’, ‘Labelled For Love’ and ‘Hourglass’ were all Top 40 hits in the UK and gave Squeeze the ammo for a bona-fide greatest hits album.

Since reforming, Squeeze have released two albums ‘Spot The Difference’ in 2010 and ‘Cradle To The Grave’ in 2015.

The Australian shows will include special guest English punk poet Dr John Cooper Clarke.
