in News

It took them 45 years to reach this major milestone, but Status Quo has released the 100th single of their career.Their first single, Pictures of Matchstick Men, was release in January of 1968, reaching the top twenty in most of the world including number 7 in the U.K. and 12 in the U.S. Since then, they have scored over 60 charting hits in the U.K. though, here in the U.S., they only managed two, Matchstick Men and Ice in the Sun (1968 / #8 U.K. / #70 U.S.). They topped the British chart twice, in 1974 with Down Down and in 1994 with Come On You Reds (Manchester United Football Club With Status Quo).

The new single, Bula Bula Quo! comes from their forthcoming studio album, the 30th of their career, Bula Quo!
