Steven Tyler made it official last night at the Grand Ole Opry, telling the crowd that he is in the process of making a country album.
Tyler walked on stage right after singer Eric Paslay finished his two song set and told the crowd about his plans. The Grand Ole Opry posted a picture of the two artists on stage on their Twitter:

Paslay and Lindsey Lee Taylor have been writing music with the Aerosmith singer as confirmed on Taylor’s Instagram.
Rumors of Tyler’s move to country have been rampant around Nashville where the singer has been seen recently on a regular basis.
In mid-March, sources also said that Tyler was working on a deal with Big Machine Records after an appearance on American Idol in support of the label head Scott Borchetta who is this year’s mentor.
