Barbara Nicks, the mother of Fleetwood Mac’s Stevie Nicks, has passed away in Arizona at the age of 84.

Barbara died of pneumonia surrounded by her daughter Stevie, son Christopher and granddaughter Jessica.
“My mom had the power within her to heal and guide so many of us. … She supported me and all of my dreams. She was the one that made it all possible,” Stevie said in a statement.
Barbara Nicks was married to concert promoter Jess Nicks who died in 2005 at the age of 80.
The Nicks family settled in Paradise Valley, Arizona in 1972.
Barbara died on December 28. There was no funeral service but a memorial will be held later in the year. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to the Salvation Army’s Red Kettle where a special fund has been formed in memory of Barbara Nicks.
