Stevie Wonder was a very busy man yesterday as he played three short pop-up concerts in three cities.

The day started in Washington with at 10 AM appearance at the grounds of RFK Stadium. The singer talked briefly about his Songs in the Key of Life tour which added twenty new dates on Monday before singing four songs from the album.

It was then off to Philadelphia where he did a 3 PM show at Dilworth Park. Once again, he talked about the tour and then moved on to gun violence, stating that he didn’t believe in gun restrictions but did urge law makers to write legislation that would trace all bullets back to their owners. He also urged that police be as accountable for their actions as the public.

The final stop of the day was an evening performance at the Central Park SummerStage in New York. Unlike the other events, this one was ticketed and, although the tickets were free, fans had to track them down to get into the event.
