Stevie Wonder has reportedly filed for divorce.
The legendary singer has decided to legally end his marriage to wife Kai Millard Morris, citing irreconcilable differences. According to TMZ, the filed documents show the pair have not been together since October 2009.
Stevie lodged the papers using his legal name Stevland Morris and is believed to have signed using two fingerprints.
The website also reports the 62-year-old star is being represented by Laura Wasser.
Stevie tied the knot with fashion designer Kai in 2001. They have two sons together, Kailand, ten, and seven-year-old Mandla. Stevie has reportedly requested joint custody of the boys and has agreed to pay both spousal and child support.
Although the singer made most of his money before he married Kai, it is not yet known how much he will have to pay her in the divorce settlement.
This was Stevie’s second marriage. He wed Motown singer Syreeta Wright in 1970 and they divorced in 1972.
