Stonefield’s incessant touring has honed their stagecraft to perfection and now they’re off to the US to show it off.
The band spent months on the road with King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard and consequently when the band hit the stage now, it’s all killer no filler. It’s a good thing, because their upcoming tour is a pretty grueling schedule.
Their record collections must be diverse because after listening to ‘Bent’ one could hardly be surprised if the back catalogues of Yes and Kyuss intermingled seamlessly.
King Gizzard’s Joe Walker and Stu MacKenzie helmed the studio for Stonefield’s fourth album ‘Bent’. Their sound sways from stoner rock to psychedelia but first of all it sounds like Stonefield.
“It’s a culmination of experiences, emotions, and stories collected over time,” singer and drummer Amy Findlay said in a statement. “A growth of honest, raw, energy that has been burning within us and waiting for its moment.”
