The world’s most anticipated music festival featuring The Rolling Stones, Paul McCartney, Roger Waters, Bob Dylan and The Who just got real. All five acts have posted video teasers for the concerts.
The event is the brainchild of the organisers of Coachella who announced their big plans for October in April. So far, Neil Young is the only major act to not have an October teaser video but that could change at any time.
The concert will take place at the Coachella site, Empire Polo Field, Indio in the California desert on October 7, 8 and 9. Dylan and the Stones will play on October 7. Neil Young and Paul McCartney October 8 and The Who and Roger Waters on October 9.
This will be a once in a lifetime event. “It’s so special in so many ways,” said Young’s longtime manager, Elliot Roberts told the Los Angeles Times, “because you won’t get a chance to see a bill like this, perhaps ever again. It’s a show I look forward to more than any show in a long time.”
