Artwork by Storm Thorgerson, including an alternate version of Pink Floyd’s ‘The Division Bell’ cover, will be available in the limited edition publication ‘Taken By Storm’.

Storm Thorgerson died in April this year. He was best known for his work with Pink Floyd. He designed the covers for most of the Pink Floyd albums from 1968 including ‘Dark Side Of The Moon’, ‘Wish You Were Here’, ‘Animals’, ‘A Momentary Lapse of Reason’ and ‘The Division Bell’. He also designed three Peter Gabiel covers, Led Zeppelin’s ‘Houses of the Holy’, ‘Presence’, ‘In Through The Out Door’ and ‘The Song Remains The Same’ and recently Powderfinger’s ‘Golden Rule’.

‘Taken By Storm’ is limited edition of 500 copies all signed by Thorgerson. It includes 4 signed fine art silkscreen prints; Storm 3D ViewMaster and reel of 7 images; Monograph – The Graphics of Storm Studios; Notebook of unseen ideas; 12 postcards; Storm’s Greetings Card; 12 illustrated coasters; limited edition T-shirt; specially designed playing cards.

‘Taken By Storm’ will be available from July 31 through Genesis Publications for around $AUD1250 (£695).

Pink Floyd’s The Division Bell will also be reissued as a deluxe box set through Warner Music in June.
