Skrillex, The Doors, Nas, Mark Ronson and more are part of the collaboration project and doco Re:Generation.
The Re:Generation project has paired six electronic producers with musicians from the across the spectrum to create some refreshing mash-ups for a documentary.
Dubstep hero Skrillex teams with members of The Doors, hip-hop DJ Premier joins forces with Nas and the Berklee School of Music Orchestra, electro producer Pretty Lights goes country with Leann Rhymes, UK tech duo The Crystal Method unite with Motown greats and the Dap Kings, and Mark Ronson tries out New Orleans jazz with Mos Def and Erykah Badu,
The documentary of the wide-ranging experiment will be released early next year, but check out the trailer below, soundtracked by a Skrillex and Doors cross-pollination. Should be cool.
