The Empty Hearts are an interesting amalgamation of rock artists. Founded last year by Andy Babiuk of the Chesterfield Kings, the band also includes Elliot Easton of the Cars, Clem Burke of Blondie and Wally Palmer of the Romantics.

The group released their self-titled debut album back in August, they have now been able to mesh their schedule so that they can tour together. That tour opened on last Tuesday night, November 18, at the Viper Room in West Hollywood.

The four members played all twelve songs from their debut album while mixing in two songs each from the Cars and the Romantics, one from Blondie and a cover of the Beatles’ I Wanna Be Your Man.
