Susan Sarandon would like to blaze some weed with A$AP Rocky and Action Bronson.
The notoriously hip 68-year-old actress reached out to the young rappers via Twitter on Tuesday.
And in Susan’s tweet she invited them to spark up some marijuana with her after learning they referenced her name in one of their songs.
‘Hey @asvpxrocky & @ActionBronson thx for the shout out on ‘1Train.’ Not sure what it means, but let’s blaze one & talk about it some time. (sic),’ she wrote.
The tune 1 Train on A$AP Rocky’s debut album Long. Live. ASAP features a litany of special guests like Action Bronson, Kendrick Lamar, Joey Badass, Yelawolf, Danny Brown and Big K.R.I.T.
Action spits the lyrics in which Susan is referenced on the track’s sixth verse.
‘You see us scrambling, selling Susan Sarandon / The cloud of smoke like the phantom,’ Action raps in 1 Train.
He seemed to have taken up Susan on her offer, as Action responded to her tweet soon after the actress published the message.
‘@SusanSarandon @asvpxrocky THELMA AND LOUISE!!!!’ he enthused on his own Twitter account.
Susan starred in 1991 movie Thelma & Louise with Geena Davis.
She has recently spoken about her love for marijuana, noting ‘the world would be a better place’ with more widespread use of the drug.
‘It’s absurd that more states haven’t legalised it .?.?. You also see the reports on kids who have seizures that are prevented by medical marijuana,’ she explained during a chat with American magazine High Times. ‘You see the relief it gives to vets .?.?. It’s also a lovely way to socialise and be with people.
‘That’s the great thing about smoking weed: If you lead a very, very busy life, for me, it really makes the most of your weekend .?.?. It allows you to slow down and really be there.’
