Suzanne Vega will tour Australia in July celebrating the 30th anniversary of her ‘Solitude Standing’ album and the 25th anniversary of ‘99.9F˚’.

‘Solitude Standing’ was Suzanne’s second album. It reached no 7 in Australia after being released in April 1, 1987. One of the lead songs from that album was ‘Tom’s Diner’, written about Tom’s Restaurant at 2880 Broadway, New York. The exterior of Tom’s Restaurant is the image used in Seinfeld whenever Jerry and George are at the diner.

‘99.9F˚’ was released on September 8, 1992. ‘Blood Makes Noise’ was the key track.

Suzanne’s other hits include ‘Marlene On The Wall’, ‘Left of Center; (with Joe Jackson) and ‘Luka’.
