Switchfoot will return to Australia in 2015 for shows in Sydney and Melbourne.
Brothers Jon and Tim Foreman formed Switchfoot in San Diego, California in 1996. Their first album ‘The Legend of Chin’ didn’t find an audience but by 2003 the fourth Switchfoot album cracked the Billboard Top 20, peaking at no 16.
Since then every Switchfoot album has connected with the US chart. ‘Nothing Is Sound’ reached no 3 in 2005, ‘Oh Gravity’ no 18 in 2006, ‘Hello Hurrican’ no 13 in 2009, ‘Vice Verses’ no 8 in 2011 and ‘Fading West’ no 6 in 2014.
