SXSW is about to open applications for artist showcases for the 2015 conference in Austin.
Applications for 2015 can be submitted from July 8. As usual, artists will be able to submit an application using the Sonicbids platform.
The application fee from July 8 and September 12 is $33 and then applications from September 13 until deadline October 10 will be $45.
2,300+ artists from all over the world showcased at SXSW in 2014. The line-up included 600 international acts from 57 countries.
Around 70 Australian acts are represented at SXSW each year chosen from around 250 Aussie and New Zealand acts that apply. Over 650 Australian and New Zealand delegates attended SXSW in 2014.
