SXSW has announced its first V2V conference in Las Vegas in August. V2V is about connecting content developers with Venture Capital thought leaders. SXSW V2V will also feature artist showcases.
The V2V conference will feature panels on how to secure funding, how crowdfunding really works, the impact of angel investors and new and innovative world technologies.
Speakers include for AOL, Time Warner CEO Steve Case, Tony Hsieh, co-founder of Link Exchange and digital marketing expert and CEO of Questus, Jeff Rosenblum.
SXSW has included the Accelerator program during the March event in Austin and created the platform for 71 start-ups to raise $490 million.
V2V will be a less crowded, more intimate networking event for entrepreneurs and creative content producers for people seeking investment in music, film and interactive businesses.
Australians are the third biggest group of SXSW registrants behind the USA and UK. 650 Australian and New Zealand delegates attended the SXSW event in March this year. Australian delegates have already registered for V2V.
SXSW V2V will be held from August 11 to 14 at The Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas.
