Tarmac Adam have released a video for their new song ‘You As Me’ following the release of ‘The History Effect’ album in the USA.
‘You As Me’ was shot over three days in Melbourne and directed by Kyle Neaves and Tom Chapman. It focuses on the moment in a person’s mind the second before a photograph is taken.
The video features lead singer Matt O’Donnell playing the part of photographer, bassist Nick Seymour showcasing his ventriloquist doll, Steve Paix and a charming bird, drummer Reuben Alexander as a philosopher and percussionist Josh Barber as the pizza delivery guy. The beautifully haunting vocals you hear are from rising star Maddy Hay.
O’Donnell and Paix formed Tarmac Adam 10 years ago with Nick Seymour and the late Paul Hester.
Noise11 will showcase the interview with Matt O’Donnell this week.
