Taylor Swift and Ed Sheeran will reportedly get together when they’re 30.
The musicians are close friends and the UK star has been supporting Taylor, 23, on her Red Tour.
Both the country music star and 22-year-old Ed are currently single, so have made a pact to date if they haven’t found the right person by the time they are 30.
“Ed and Taylor are very close and that’s why they’ve jokingly discussed the possibility of getting together if they’re both on the market in seven years’ time,” a source smiled to British magazine Star.
The singers caused speculation of a romantic relationship when Ed stayed in Taylor’s room until 4am after the BRIT Awards this year.
He later claimed they were just “listening to music” and the insider has confirmed they are nothing more than pals – for now.
“Neither of them wants to settle down at the moment – or jeopardise their friendship with a potentially damaging fling,” the source continued.
“They make a great couple, but right now it’s a case of right partner, wrong time.”
The pair are currently on the North American leg of Taylor’s Red Tour and will finish in Australia in December.
Taylor has dated celebrities including John Mayer and Harry Styles in the past, while Ed has been linked to Justin Bieber’s ex, Selena Gomez.
