Taylor Swift is reported to have gone on a ‘Porn URL’ shopping spree buying up her X-rated domain names before her name is used for porn sites.
CCN Money says Swift has purchased the taylorswift,porn, and taylorswift.adult URL’s before the URL extensions become readily available in June pre-empting opportunists who could buy the web addresses and turn the sites into something Swift may not want them to be.
The Internet Corportation of Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) is expanding its URL extensions and has increased the number of extensions of 22 in 2011 to 547 currently. New URL extensions are currently being added every month and the .porn and .adult as well as .sucks are next in line.
