Taylor Swift fans can shop at the Taylor Swift pop-up shop in Melbourne this Friday and Saturday prior to her stadium gig.
The store will be located between Southern Cross Station and Etihad Stadium and open from 12 noon to 7pm on each day.
The Taylor Swift pop-up store will give fans the chance to purchase tour merch prior to the show this Saturday night.
Taylor Swift’s Red tour is the first Australian tour for a female to play stadiums since Madonna in 1993.
“I saw the first stadium show of Taylor’s The Red Tour and Australia and New Zealand are in for an absolute treat,” promoter Michael Gudinski said. “Taylor Swift is a superstar globally and has repeatedly sold out multiple arenas in both Australia and New Zealand. She has proven herself to be one of the most significant female artists of our time and it is a natural progression to see her take her touring to the next level here, with the confirmation that she will play four massive stadium shows across Australia this summer. It’s been 20 years since Madonna played stadiums for Frontier and I can honestly think of only a tiny handful of solo artists – male or female – who could fill stadium venues today.”
The 7-time Grammy Award winner will perform on Saturday night at Etihad Stadium in Melbourne. The support acts for the tour are Neon Trees and Guy Sebastian.
