The Temper Trap, Missy Higgins, Bluejuice, Big Scary and more sign on for the Soundscape Festival.
The festival is in its fifth year, and has broadened to a two-day, more boutique arrangement now at Princes Wharf 1 in Hobart.
Recently based around dancier tunes, this year they’ve snaffled a very alternative-friendly group, headed up by stadium band The Temper Trap and the rejuvenated Missy Higgins.
They’ve also got party-starters Bluejuice, indie duo Big Scary, synth-pop acts Strange Talk and Mitzi, hip-hopper Skryptcha, indie-pop act The Cairos, avant-dance chanteuse Asta, local folk-rockers The Mornings, as well as the Silent Disco and Yacht Club DJs.
Tickets go on sale Thursday 23 August from their site and outlets around Hobart, Launceston and Burnie. The Soundscape Festival takes place on November 16 and 17.
