Tex Perkins Adds Second Far From Folsom Show In Sydney

Sydney has been granted one more Tex Perkins ‘Far From Folsom’ show at Cockatoo Island’s decommissioned gaol.

‘Far From Folsom’ sees Tex Perkins performing the songs of Johnny Cash in decommissioned prisons around Australia.

The concept for the event came from Regional Touring’s Duane McDonald, the man behind the Red Hot Summer and One Electric Day festivals, who floated the idea to various potential sites around Australia, all ex-prisons.

The ‘Far From Folsom’ show will visit come iconic Australia landmarks including the Port Arthur Historic Site in Tasmania.
