The show has been expanded to a one-hour format with Negus joining The Project as a contributor.

The Project line-up will remain the same with Charlie Pickering as host with Dave Hughes and Carrie Bickmore as co-hosts on the panel.

The program launched on July 20, 2009 and is now the number one program in its timeslot.

The 7PM Project was developed by Rove McManus’ company Roving Enterprises. Roving Enterprises have also produced ‘Are You Smarter Than A 5th Grader’, ‘skitHOUSE’ and Silverchair’s ‘Beyond The Diorama’ TV special.

It came out in the same week as Culture Club’s ‘Color By Numbers’. Those were the days when something important was happening every week with new music.
