The Age and Music Victoria will welcome 10 acts to this year’s Hall of Fame including John Farnham, The Seekers, Archie Roach and AC/DC.
The 2015 Hall of Fame will be officially launched with a concert at Melbourne’s iconic Palais Theatre, which over the years has been the venue for artists such as The Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan, Bruce Springsteen, The Clash and Joni Mitchell. The theatre will also be awarded a 2015 induction.
“These inductees are the architects of Victorian music and we are privileged to have the opportunity to pat tribute to all in this one never-to-be-repeated event,” said Music Victoria CEO Patrick Donovan.
The 10 Inductees in for 2015 are:

Bill Armstrong
John Farnham
Olivia Newton-John
The Palais Theatre
Archie Roach AO
Stan Rofe
The Seekers
Sunbury Festival
The Thunderbirds
AC/DC are currently on tour in Europe but in a message Angus Young said, “Victoria has been a special place in our hearts, especially the early years of the band. Thank you for the induction into The Age.”
The Age and Music Victoria have announced at 10th Anniversary Hall of Fame concert to welcome the inductees with John Farnham performing a 30 minute set.
The event will feature 2015 inductee Archie Roach and musicians Kate Ceberano, Brian Cadd, Normie Rowe, Colleen Hewett, Vika Bull, Angie Hart and Mark Seymour with more acts to be confirmed.
Tickets for The Age Music Victoria 10th Anniversary Hall of Fame Concert will go on sale Friday, 19 June 2015 at 9am via Ticketmaster.
The Age Music Victoria Hall of Fame concert will be held Friday, 20 November 2015 at The Palais Theatre, St Kilda.
