Tim Henwood is reforming power-pop band The Androids for a couple of shows (and I literally mean a couple).
Henwood, Matt Grech, Matt Tomlinson and Sam Grayson, will once again become The Androids for two shows in March.
Here is actual footage of Tim Henwood approaching the band members about the reunion:
The Androids had a top 10 hit in Australia in 2002 with ‘Do It With Madonna’. The song also reached no 15 in the UK.

The Androids released two albums, ‘The Androids’ in 2003 and ‘Outta Ya Mind’ in 2008. They also opened for Pink on her 2007 ‘I’m Not Dead Australian tour.
Tim Henwood was a member of The Superjesus before forming The Androids. He was the principle writer with Sarah McLeod on the second The Superjesus album ‘Jet Age’.
In 2005 Tim joined Rogue Traders and co-wrote their 2007 hit ‘I Never Liked You’ (no 11, Australia).
Henwood’s current band is hardrock outfit Palace of the King.
Guitarist Sam Grayson is a member of Melbourne band Kids With Capes.
The two shows planned for The Androids are:
March 10, Mulwala, Water Ski Club
March 11, Albury, SSA
