The Angels to Perform with and without Orchestra for next season of shows

by Paul Cashmere on January 8, 2019

in News

The Angels will play both Classical and Rock when they start their shows for 2019.

Phase 1 will be Series 2 of Red Hot Summer with The Angels as a full-tilt rock band. Phase 2 will be the Orchestra shows for Sydney and Melbourne.

Red Hot Summer will have The Angels well oiled before they put of the tux for the classical shows. (Seriously, I want to see Dave Gleeson in a tux).

The Angels are on Series 2 of Red Hot Summer with Suzi Quatro headlining and Baby Animals, The Screaming Jets, Jon Stevens, Moving Pictures and Chocolate Starfish also performing.

Red Hot Summer series two dates

February 16, Barossa Valley, SA
February 17, Hobart, Tas
February 23, Bendigo, Vic
February 24, Canberra, ACT
March 2, Wodonga, Vic
March 3, Kiama, NSW
March 9, Kariong, NSW
March 10, Jacobs Well, Qld
March 16, Port Macquarie, NSW
March 17, Bribie Island

The Angels performed Symphony of Angels in their hometown Adelaide with the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra in July 2018.

The shows for 2019 are:

4 April, Sydney, Sydney Opera House
6 April, Melbourne, Hamer Hall
