Vivid Live will play host to The Avalanchces Since I Left You Block Party on May 27 and 28.
The Avalanches have recruited DJ Shadow, Briggs and DJ JNETT with Jonti joining in on May 27 and Sampa The Great along for the May 28 performance.
According to Vivid Live, “JNETT is one of Melbourne’s true diggers from The Avalanches’ early days. Her crates dig deep into the history of house, techno, funk, soul, dub and hip-hop. JNETT’s ears became finely tuned behind the counter at Melbourne’s Central Station Records, and as host of ABC’s legendary dance music show Recovery. Her recent set at Sugar Mountain spanned an entire history of dancefloor anthems, a set to dance through the ages to”.
