After a massive 2012 that saw the Bamboos reach the top 10 in the ARIA Album charts, they have announced and new album and tour.
The Bamboos have single-handedly redefined soul music in Australia and their latest album ‘Fever In The Road’ is the genre-bending journey we have come to expect from them.
After receiving massive critical acclaim, three ARIA nominations, #54 in the Triple J Hottest 100 (‘I Got Burned’ feat. Tim Rogers) with their last album ‘Medicine Man’, The Bamboos are primed for further success with their latest offering.
‘Fever In The Road’ was produced by multi-instrumentalist John Castle (Washington, Pez, Kate Miller-Heidke) who also worked on their previous album. Together they have created a dense and sometimes dark album that still has all of the anthemic qualities we have come to expect from the group.
In support of the album, The Bamboos will embark on a national tour through November and December. Tickets to these shows will no doubt be snapped up quickly so get on it!
