The Beatles have released another nugget from the upcoming ‘Abbey Road’ 50th anniversary box set… take 4 of ‘Oh Darling’.

The original song was never intended as a single but was released on 7 inch in Central America with ‘Maxwell’s Silver Hammer’ as the b-side and in Japan with ‘Here Comes The Sun’ as the b-side. Worldwide, the only single officially released by Apple Records off Abbey Road was ‘Come Together/Something”.

‘Oh Darling’ is a Paul McCartney song. The Beatles first demoed it during the filming of the Let It Be sessions. The Let It Be version was released on Anthology 3 in 1996.

The Take 4 version will be released officially as part of the ‘Abbey Road’ 50th anniversary box set on 27 September 2019.
