The Bellrays will perform an exclusive Melbourne show at CherryFest in Melbourne in November.
CherryFest 2014 will feature 14 acts on two stages from midday until 9.30pm at the Cherry Bar in Ac/DC Lane, Melbourne.
Cherry Bar owner James Young is excited to score The Bellrays to headline the show. “The Bellrays sound to me like Tina Turner singing out front of the MC5,” James said. “They are one of the best and most exciting live bands in the world. It is an honour, a privilege and a miracle that they are headlining CherryFest in this exclusive show”.
CherryFest will also feature Chris Wilson’s Crown of Thorns. “Chris Wilson’s Crown of Thorns reforming to play CherryFest is an amazing effort, mainly thanks to Maxwell Von Crawdaddy, and to have Australian Blues Royalty and the “Hendrix of the harmonica” Chris Wilson playing beside Barb Waters, Ash Davies and Chris Rogers again is something that’s really going to get the drinking arms of Melbourne swinging, I can assure you”.
Other acts announced are Kadavar from Gemany, Hoss, The Legends of Motorsport, The Mercy Kills and The Deep End.
CherryFest will be held at The Cherry Bar and in AC/DC Lane in November 24.
