Look out for a Go-Betweens ‘Best Of’ hand-picked by Forster, Morrison, Brown and Vickers, complete with a live disc.
The Go-Betweens were one of Australia’s most beloved alternative pop acts, going through many phases but retaining the songwriting core of Robert Forster and Grant McLennan all the way up to their final album Oceans Apart in 2005.
They weren’t only loved by Australia but brought our sound to the world, and were based in London for a time.
Now a eighteen-track compilation of their best has been hand-picked by Forster, and former members Lindy Morrison, Amanda Brown and Robert Vickers.
Alongside the collection is a live recording of the band in 1987 titled Vienna Burns. Quiet Heart: The Best Of The Go-Betweens will be released on August 31. Check out the track-listing below.
