Atlanta’s nutty flower punks The Black Lips have announced uber-cool supports for their Australian tour.
The Black Lips finally broke through last year with their sixth, Mark Ronson-produced album Arabia Mountain after years of cult status as garage rock’s wildest troublemakers.
They’re touring Australia at the beginning of March and have now announced predictably hip acts in support.
They’ll be joined by Velociraptor, Dead Beat Band and The Ottomans on the Gold Coast, Tiny Migrants and Cannon in Brisbane, Circle Pit and Bed Wettin’ Bad Boys in Sydney, Circle Pit and Frowning Clouds in Melbourne, and The Painkillers and Astral Travel in Perth.
They’re also locked in for Playground Weekender, the Adelaide Festival, and Golden Plains Sixxx.
Tickets are on sale now from the venues and OzTix.
