APRA’s Screen Music Awards will host the APRA Screen Music Awards in Sydney in December.

APRA AMCOS, together with the Australian Guild of Screen Composers, will announce the winners at the 13th awards at the State Theatre on December 9.

The APRA Screen Music awards has traditionally been held in November but this year moves t December to coincide with Tropfest, the world’s largest short film festival.

The 2013 Screen Music Awards will honour Australian composers across 13 categories including compositions for documentaries, short films, mini-series, children’s television and feature film scores.
