Cult Oakland hip-hop crew The Coup deliver a new single ‘WAVIP’ with Killer Mike and Das Racist.

The politically-sharp Californian crew got a lot of attention with the release of their fourth album Party Music, due to its untimely Twin Towers-bombing cover art having to be redesigned after 9/11, delaying it to November 2001.
Their fifth album Pick A Bigger Weapon was released in 2006 and we haven’t heard much from the crew until now, when they make their long-awaited return with the concept album Sorry To Bother You, which will be attached to a film of the same name featuring Coup vocalist Boots Riley.
Along for the ride are politically-savvy rappers Das Racist and Killer Mike on the latest single ‘WAVIP’, which is streaming on Soundcloud. Have a listen below. Sorry To Bother You will be out on October 30 on ANTI-.
