The music of The Cranberries is dominating iTunes charts worldwide following the death of singer Dolores O’Riordan. In Australia, The Cranberries have the top three songs and four albums in the Top 10.
Australia’s iTunes chart on 17 January 2018 had ‘Linger’ at no 1, ‘Dreams’ at no 2 and ‘Zombie’ at no 3.
The best of album ‘Stars: The Best of The Cranberries’ is at no 2, ‘No Need To Argue’ is at no 4, ‘Everybody Else Is Doing It’ is at no 8 and ‘Something Else’ is at no. 10.
In the USA ‘Linger’ is at no 2, ‘Dreams’ at no 3 and ‘Zombie’ at no 5.
On the USA album chart, ‘Stars’ is at no 2, ‘No Need To Argue’ is at no 5, ‘Something Else’ is at no 6 and ‘Everybody Else Is Doing It’ is at no 7.
In the UK, ‘Linger’ is the no 2 song, ‘Zombie’ is at no 4 and ‘Dreams’ is at no 6 while on the album chart ‘Stars’ is at no 2 and ‘No Need To Argue’ is at no 5.
Dolores O’Riordan was found dead in her London hotel room on 15 January, 2018. She was 46 years old. Police are treated the death as “not suspicous”.
