A song by Australian supergroup The Dead Daisies has been picked up by a radio station in Arizona before being noticed by Australian radio stations.
‘Lock N Load’, the debut song for The Dead Daisies, has been added to KDKB in Phoenix.
KDKB is one of America’s most stable radio stations after switching to its rock format back in 1971. The station has catered for two generations of rock fans by recognising great new rock music as it is released.
The Dead Daisies is the supergroup featuring Noiseworks singer Jon Stevens and part-time Angels guitarist David Lowy.
As well as Stevens and David Lowy, The Dead Daisies has an all-star lineup of Marco Mendoza, Thin Lizzy (bass), Richard Fortus, Guns N Roses (guitar), Alex Carapetis, Julian Casablancas’ The Voidz (drums) and Dizzy Reed, Guns N Roses (keyboards).
The Dead Daisies will tour with USA as part of Uproar with Alice In Chains and Jane’s Addiction in August.
