The Dead Daisies have become the first act ever to have a documentary premiere on Twitter.
‘Revolución’ captures the historic visit to Cuba by The Dead Daisies in February 2015. The Dead Daisies were the first western rock band to perform in Cuba since President Obama resurrected trade with the Caribbean country.
David Lowy, Richard Fortus, Dizzy Reed, Brian Tichy, Marco Mendoza and new singer John Corabi, formerly of Motley Crue, along with Rolling Stones band members Daryl Jones and Bernard Fowler, flew to Havana to jam and perform with Cuban musicians. The trip finished with a performance at the Concert for Peace (Roc Por La Paz) in front of over 6,000 fans.
‘Revolución’ documents the trip. It is a film by Danny Saber with Executive Producer David Edwards and can be viewed exclusively through Twitter.
