The Dead Daisies played their first Australian shows in Adelaide on Thursday and shared new music for the first time with the audience.

The Aussie supergroup, made up of members of Guns N Roses, Thin Lizzy, Red Phoenix, The Cult and Noiseworks, performed songs that they plan to record next week at Music Feeds (Megaphon) studio with producer Matt Lovell.

Adelaide was treated to the preview of the songs ‘Your Karma’, ‘Angel In Your Eyes’ and ‘Face I Love’ as part of The Dead Daisies setlist.

The show also showcased tracks from the debut self-titled album, released on Friday, February 7 in Australia and covers of classics from The Faces, The Beatles, Free, Deep Purple and Cactus.

James Taylor Farewells Australia With Final Tour (Melbourne Review)

I could go to a James Taylor show just for the stories. The man is a part of music history and is still around to tell the tales of how it all began. Like, for instance, being the first artist signed to Apple Records. James “auditioned” for Apple with his song ‘Something In The Way She Moves’. "Paul went away and started the label and George went away and wrote the song”, he said.
