The Dead Daisies Kickstart First US Tour With Alice In Chains And Jane’s Addiction

Australian supergroup The Dead Daisies have started its first US tour as part of the Uproar Festival with Alice In Chains and Jane’s Addiction.

The Uproar Festival started last Friday in Scranton, Pennsylvania.

The Dead Daisies, featuring David Lowy and Jon Stevens, are headlining the Coldcock Herbal Whiskey Showcase stage around 5pm each day on Uproar while Jane’s Addiction play later at around 8:20pm and Alice In Chains at 9:45pm on the Rockstar Energy Drink main stage.

The Dead Daisies are also doing a signing from fans each afternoon around 3:30pm.

he Dead Daisies are Jon Stevens (INXS/Noiseworks) and David Lowy (The Angels), Americans Richard Fortus (Guns ’N’ Roses/Thin Lizzy), Marco Mendoza (Thin Lizzy/Whitesnake), Alex Carapetis (Nine Inch Nails/Julian Casablancas) and Dizzy Reed (Guns ’N’ Roses).

Stevens is performing with a broken leg and dislocated thumb following a fishing accident in Queensland just days before he was due to fly to the US to perform.

The next date for the Uproar Festival is August 13 in Saratoga Springs, New York. Uproar with The Dead Daisies will conclude on September 15 in Chula Vista, California.
