John Corabi has been officially confirmed as the new lead singer for The Dead Daisies, replacing Jon Stevens.

Corabi was a one-time singer for Mötley Crüe, doing lead vocals on the Mötley Crüe album (1994). The album reached no 3 on the Australian album charted and peaked at no. 7 in the USA.

In an official statement The Dead Daisies have announced, “Following the successful visit to Cuba, John Corabi will now join The Dead Daisies as their lead singer. John is an established international artist, both as a solo performer and frontman, and has been a member of Mötley Crüe, Angora and Scream.

“Jon Stevens will no longer be the lead singer of The Dead Daisies. We thank him for his contribution during his time with The Dead Daisies and wish him well in his future endeavours”.

Last week Corabi finished work on the second album for The Dead Daisies, titled ‘Revolución’. Jackie Barnes of the Jimmy Barnes Band plays drums on the album. Black Sabbath drummer Tommy Clufetos was announced last week as the band’s new touring drummer.

‘Revolución’ will be released in Europe on May 29, 2015 in time for the Kiss and The Dead Daisies joint tour.
