The Dead Daisies, the Australian supergroup featuring members of Gun N Roses, The Cult, Thin Lizzy and Noiseworks will play their first ever Melbourne pub gig this Sunday night.

The Dead Daisies recently toured the USA with Jane’s Addiction and Alice In Chains and the UK with Black Star Riders.

In 2013 they were also special guests of Aerosmith on their Australian tour.

The Dead Daisies are performing for A Day On The Green this Saturday in the Yarra Valley and will also play Melbourne’s iconic The Espy in St Kilda on Sunday night (on stage at 9:30pm).

The Dead Daisies features Dizzy Reed and Richard Fortus of Guns N Roses, Jon Stevens of Noiseworks, Marco Mendoza of Thin Lizzy/Black Star Riders, David Lowy of Mink/Red Phoenix and new member John Tempesta of The Cult.

James Taylor Farewells Australia With Final Tour (Melbourne Review)

I could go to a James Taylor show just for the stories. The man is a part of music history and is still around to tell the tales of how it all began. Like, for instance, being the first artist signed to Apple Records. James “auditioned” for Apple with his song ‘Something In The Way She Moves’. "Paul went away and started the label and George went away and wrote the song”, he said.
