Funk-soul legends The Family Stone team up with Hypnotic Brass Ensemble for Australian sideshows.
San Francisco psychedelic soul funk pioneers The Family Stone and new-school Chicago jazz-hop collective Hypnotic Brass Ensemble will both be here for the Harvest Fest and will certainly put on an incredible show as a double-bill in Melbourne and Adelaide.
The Family Stone have had a long history playing with Sly Stone and many other members across the years, but the current line-up features founding members Jerry Martini, Cynthia Robinson, and Greg Errico, who promise to play all the classics, including ‘Thank You Falettinme Be Mice Elf Agin’, ‘Dance To The Music’ and ‘Family Affair’.
Hypnotic Brass Ensemble have entranced Australian crowds already, with their irresistibly danceable funk and jazz sounds set to bouncing hip-hop beats. They’ve worked with Gorillaz, Mos Def, Erykah Badu, Ghostface Killah and more.
Tickets to both sideshows go on sale Friday October 7 from 9am.
