Wild UK blues rockers The Jim Jones Revue announce details of their third studio album.
The Jim Jones Revue certainly have a pedigree, and have toured the world but have particular love from Australia after touring here as part of the Big Day Out in 2011 and selling out January shows this year following their Falls Festival appearance.
Following the acclaim for 2010’s Burning Your House Down, they’re preparing to release their new album The Savage Heart. The album was produced by Jim Sclavunos, who has an Australian connection in that he was in Grinderman and worked with Nick Cave And The Bad Seeds.
A press release says that the band will be “exploring new musical and lyrical territory”, but we can still expect “their renowned powerhouse sound”.
The Savage Heart will be released on October 12. Check out Jim Jones testifyin’ below in the clip for ‘High Horse’.
