The Jones Rival claim they honed their songwriting skills whilst busking their way across Europe, and that influence has made its way into their debut ‘Mind of a Dreamer’.

Back in Sydney, Evan Rotherham and Adam McTaggart and the other members of The Jones Rival, Shaun Gaida and Daniel Palacios, have been keeping very busy producing a high energy “non-stop-dance-your-ass-off-show” in many music venues.
According to the band, “A number of musical influences (The Doors, Tame Impala, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club) are thrown into the mix when we get together as well as ideas and concepts. It really is always a creative process. We have all known each other for a long time so it really is just lots of fun to be able to play”.
Blending psychedelic rock with a modern rock edge, The Jones Rival has released their debut single, ‘Mind Of A Dreamer’, which was recorded at drummer Shaun’s studio, in Petersham, Sydney.
The Jones Rival will perform two gigs soon in Sydney.
